Do any of you remember the 3vepisodescwith Brandon Close? The first encounter, he and his neighbor Gene were chased by one in a golf cart. It was tremendous exciting and also a lie. Please Google Brandon Close , Niagra Falls, NY and read the details about how tough Brandon really is. It's mind boggling when you read the details of the fight he had.

OH YEAH!!! I LOVED that episode! Mostly because the guys that showed up with the directed acoustic weapon/device after he notified authorities or whatever... I was hoping we'd hear more from him. INSERT EDIT, ok I missed part of the last post about it being a lie and just googled the niagra falls after his name... Wow... Scum bag... I remember another story I was hoping for a follow up on… Don't remember the episode number, but I remember he cornered one in his barn, had his 10 mm pistol pointed right at its face and he said it emoted/evoked/(telepathically projected?) a horrible deep feeling of sadness and despair at him, so he let it go and it got away and he felt like it cheated him... I remember it came in his house, was fascinated by his baby daughter, a baby monitor was involved I think, and they ended up moving because of all of it, or were in the process of anyway... Anyone remember that episode or is it that same one?

Doing some more reading on comments sections on reddit and it seems I'm remembering 3 different stories from the same guy. Guess he was a frequent guest. If I'm correct and it's all the same guy, and I'm not conflating multiple stories, what bothered me about his story was how much detail he had about what he ate for dinner that day... Green beans and a few other things... Who remembers that kinda crap? I remember it bothering me. Also how much he lingered on his "position" of "protector" and how unsympathetic his wife was to the whole scenario and the secret keeping... I don't know, those parts of the story didn't add up to me. I'm married and have small children myself and plenty of guns and it just all seemed very "dramatic" and unrealistic. Guess he likes to beat toddlers so there ya go. assuming that is the same guy as the one mentioned in the court case in Niagra Falls.

Again Vic is vulnerable to liars due to the therapeutic tone he shoots for: He needs to address this or remove the episode. That’s two episodes everyone liked that were actually lies. (Khartoum Hansen.)

There hasn’t been much activity here lately. I wanted to provide a place for people who like the radio show mentioned in the title of this post/thread. There already exists a thread critical of the host. The host stays out of the way for the most part and tries to help, so far as I can tell. I don’t think he deserves to be any kind of target among people interested in discussing a strange creature, encounters with which are the subject of his radio show. Accordingly, this thread I would like to use for people who want to discuss the often captivating and memorable interviews that the host conducts on his show. I lost all respect for Dogman Encounters after listening to episode 190, 191 and 192 with Brandon Close of "Upper New York state. When you Google Brandon Close you will readily find out he is a career criminal with multiple felonies including beating a toddler. Further research shows he owns no land, is not married which leads to the belief that Cundiff's lackadaisical approach to verifying his guests authenticity is very lacking. We all remember the Khat Hansen debacle. The worst part Cundiff has been made aware of this and refuses to remove the podcasts in question. I understand mistakes can happen and fake people with fake stories slip through but it shows me that Cundiff has zero ethics.

Hello Everyone! I have read that the dogman with human legs are possibly the ones who shape shift and the ones with hocks(sp?) are different in that they are not shape shifters. The shape shifters are the ones who fold or hang their clothes so they may use them again when they transform back into a full man or woman. People who witness dogmen wearing torn clothing or clothing that looks too small and torn are thought to be the ones who, for some reason, were not able to remove their clothing prior to shape shifting. I have read that some dogman like to wear red as in red jackets, but there was one story about a dogman eating a little girl's red cap/hat. He didn't harm the little girl yet when the search party found her and she referred to the dogman as "Mr. Wolf." Does anyone have info regarding dogmen and the color red?

Khat Hansens DME episode was awesome... One of my favorites. I should probably start listening to more of the Big Foot stuff. I think I'm somewhat desensitized or turned off to it because here on the west coast its like, everywhere... Been hearing about it my whole life. Hell we even have dna samples of THAT one, haha. But I think the two phenomena are so closely related there's something to be learned there.

Khat Hansen's story has been discredited and Cundiff supposedly removed it. The Brandon Close saga is even worse. Everything he said is a lie

I drive on back roads all the time day or night and know the farm he talks about in Cato - Meridian NY is non existent. Scouted on maps and in real life, yea unfortunately a made up account.

yeah vic seems more concerned with reassuring and encouraging and playing therapist than with any protocols of even basic vetting - still, the true encounters are good listens I lost all respect for Dogman Encounters after listening to episode 190, 191 and 192 with Brandon Close of "Upper New York state. Episode 309 was one of my favorites. And I do believe the guy is telling the truth. You can hear the emotion and fear in his voice. Excellent episode.
