Does anyone remember the bizzare missing411 case of Casey Hathoway the little boy in NC who went missing from the back yard only to be found days later having told his parents a large bear looked after him? This was winter in NC gets pretty freezing. This case reminds me of how the reports make you wonder what really is behind the event. I heard a sherrif give there own dogman encounter on Vic Cundiffs "Dogman Encounter Radio" she said that the approval of any news that comes from a public report must be approved for release by someone above the police chain of command. So I highly doubt there would be approval to release Dogman attacked anyone though that is probably what happened here. Honestly the public has a right to know I think. Welcome to NADP Bee! If you ever have questions, comments, needs, or experiences this is the place to reach out. The NC case is interesting. I’m originally from Upper East Tennessee and my family farm is in the Smokies. It can get harsh in the winter and was even more so years ago. As odd as it may sound, adult animals have not been unknown to care for human children. From a Zoological standpoint they sense them as no threat and seem to understand they’re “pups”. Now that is unless they simply eat them. As no one knows the circumstance it could have been a female bear (males tend to eat the young), or if one has an open mind, it could have been a Dogman or a Sasquatch (numerous sightings have been logged in NC. Again, welcome, it’s wonderful to have you aboard!

Sounds like the dogs licked her wounds to me. How the heck can't they figure out what killer her? I'd have thought canines, being mans best friend and all, would have some good DNA studies done on them. Could it be that they know what it is and don't want to tell us? I am not saying that is the case.

My own thoughts after being a part of the research and investigation community since ‘76 is that nothing you hear on a podcast or read is anything more than possibly interesting starting points for focused research and future investigation. They’re not credible and until confirmed through investigation are simply hearsay and/or entertainment.

I definitely agree with that, a few years back I was looking into the UFO thing, being that I had an encounter when I was a kid, and being that my daughters and a friend had their car stopped on the road by a UFO that hovered only about 6 feet away from their car for about a minute before taking off. It was triangular shaped metallic gray and semi transparent with windows going all the way around it that were illuminated, and looked like there was someone in those widows looking at them but, they could not see into the windows or see the aliens.
I found that 95 percent of all of the UFO videos on You Tube were fake, and then found out why. People are getting paid to post videos on YouTube, if their video reaches a certain amount of views then advertisers start putting their adds on your video and you get paid for it, so hoards of dishonest people are posting as many fake videos as they can so they can make a living doing this, even fake free energy, and fake politics you name it they have no mercy, in just about every subject you will find deceitful videos full of lies.
I saw one video about this couple hiking in the forest and came upon this crashed UFO and they videoed it and the alien creature came out of it, so I started searching every thing I could about it on the internet, and it took me about 2 or 3 hours but I found that the couple are professional actors and of course it was a fake video. They even showed an official document written up by the forest service or park rangers stating that they found this crashed UFO.
After this I lost a lot of respect for YouTube, but it is still one of my favorite web sites.

dogflabber, I agree the fakery and hoaxing is rampant and it really makes me mad because it wastes my time and clouds the waters for finding the truth. Yes, in most cases money is the motivator. Sometimes people also like to make fun of things they don't believe in. Sometimes those people encounter something and I'd love to have THAT video of when they had their epiphany that the stuff they'd been making fun of was real.
It takes a lot of sorting through drek to find things that even resemble authenticity. I've been convinced some videos and presentations were authentic only to have someone show how it was a fake. (I don't like debunkers either unless they can show me something analytical that proves their point and not just ridicule and refute what others say).

Yes AG47, you are very right, and also make a good point about the de-bunkers as well, they debunk peoples stories just because they do not believe them, but who are they to have such great knowledge of the unknown or Paranormal occurrences and events to debunk others online, and destroy those people. I don't want to point the finger at anyone because I don't like to hurt others. The other day I was searching for this guys video because he had posted some ornamental figures on YouTube and right after my telepathic encounter I had in a tree stand. Later that late afternoon my dad found one of these that was almost identical of one of his. I was having a hard time believing his story but when I saw these figures that were gifted to him and saw the one that my dad had found next to the tongue of the camper we were staying in, then I knew that he was telling the truth about what was happening to him, but if my dad had not found that ornamental figure I never would have believed him. Months had past and I wanted to look at his video again, so I was searching for him online and I kept coming up with this debunkers web site where he was debunking this man, and I just thought it was so sad, and it made me angry. They are trying to silence someone that has a very important story to tell. Now my encounter was with a hate filled entity, demonic in nature, and this mans encounters are with entities or BF that are friendly to him, my encounter was different, I thought I was going to die, so what, that does not mean this man is lying. My encounter was not visual, it was too dark for me to see anything, I probably would have tried to shoot it but I had another one approaching me from behind. The figure my dad found was oval shaped with a stick going through the middle of it. The figure was very well made, by something that had a lot of talent and creativity, my dad asked me many times if I had made it, and I kept telling him that I did not make it. He also wanted to save it and take it home, but when I held it and closed my eyes, I got the feeling it was not from this earth, did not feel it was demonic but just not natural, and it gave me a funny feeling, kind of like a sick feeling, so I started to try to unwrap the reeds or twigs, and they broke, so you could not take it apart, and that was good because there was no way I was going to let my dad take it home. Who knows maybe that is why this man started to get these Paranormal BigFoot entities showing up in his cabin, was because he brought these stick figures into his home. I told my dad of my encounter, and he had no comment and insisted that I go back out deer hunting the next morning, I have to tell you I was very, very afraid, but went anyway. I did not tell my dad of the telepathic part of it or like you say AG, they would have put me in a strait jacket. I did not take the time to read why they were debunking him, and did not want to waste my time with all that sh*t slinging. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dK0gOhO_F48

I am not a researcher but sounds like it is very difficult to to not only get a real story but to find the people that it actually happened to, but its a good thing for this forum, because I think eventually the people that have encounters will come looking for you, because they get a burning feeling that they need answers about what happened to them. I had tried to forget about my encounters for many years, but heard a pod cast a while back and it sparked my interest again, I just hope that my new found interest is coming from a good place.

If I may climb on ag47's bandwagon.
Not only do those of us with a sincere desire to learn the truth about Dogman contend with people camped on both extremes;those who unquestioningly accept any report as being completely factual, and those who denounce every report as being fictitious.
We also have to wade through waters intentionally made murkier by Hoaxers. Not to mention the completely reasonable notion that there may be people with a vested interest in keeping the truth hidden, who are actively working to do just that.
Find a seat round the fire friends. I have a feeling we're in for a dark and very long night.

Eoin, Thank you very much, I believe that everyone that has an encounter has a need to find answers, about what these things are and why it is happened to them. It seems to me that they only terrorize some people, but I know very little on this subject, and am just looking for answers. I talked to a long time hunter the other day, and told him I thought BF were real and he said that he had been hunting for 30 years and had never seen anything like that so if they existed he would have seen one by now. I told he, well you are a pilot and have never seen a UFO, but that doesn't mean they don't exist, and his eyes just got big with no comment. I think pilots can loose their jobs by talking about UFOs.
I talked to a cross country truck driver of 20 years that has never seen one, but I heard a pod cast of another truck driver that had seen 3 BF in his travels.
What do you think it is, do you think that they like to bother only those that can sense their presence or do you think that it is only a question of being in the right place at the right time?

I once had many ideas regarding what would be this cryptid, preternatural, or paranormal entity. I’ve condensed that into a single theory that is not singular in and of itself. I plan to actually write a volume regarding it after more research and field investigation, but for now it’s a work in progress with more focused work needed. None the less, I theorise that persons with specific Parapsychological abilities or those being in the right place at the right time trigger a sequence that results in a sighting. Mind you, part of this involves a quasi flesh and blood phenomena, but for now I’ll leave it there.

These stories always pop up in the news cycle, are hot for a couple of days, then disappear without ever being mentioned again.
This story.
The llamas and donkeys killed by a mysterious animal in Kentucky.
The unknown primate that was trying to take children and pets in Texas.
There is never any resolution or follow up. Not even a 'Hey, we figured it out. Nothing to see here. Move along.' It's like another party has become involved and makes the story disappear. With our never ending news cycle, it is out of everyone's memory in a matter of days.
