Okay so check this out. A friend of mine in Oklahoma with some good acreage found some marks in the soil near a salt lick on his property. And about a week or so ago he found more. I'm interested in outside input. He suspects it may be a mountain lion buuuuuuut these are quite large (nor have I, in all my years, seen anything like this in the forests). Not only do they appear quite large in the photos but he estimates about 10" across. I find these.....intriguing. A bear, perhaps?

I got nothing. Can't draw any conclusions whatsoever from just the pictures. Would love to hear more about the backstory though. Any other information would be appreciated. Was the ground frozen? Are those hoof prints from other game in one of the pictures? Any other activity?

NO "activity" that I've been told about; the salt lick is pretty far back on his property. You can see hoof prints in the third photo. Still waiting for a trailcam to be set up but that seem sto be a low priority for him.
