However..... the signs or markers using limbs and trees, the mutilated ducks, the coffee cans full of blood that we have seen and had pics of but were deleted somehow off one drive, the rock throwing and growls and howling when we enter certain parts of the area lead us to believe there is something different here than just a bear or cat,the tracks say it all we believe. It would be great if we had an experienced dogman person that could make sense of this. I would also add that we fish and had no idea of the dogman when we started seeing these big tracks. We even went to the ranger station concerned there was a big cat in the area, and we were told they had been hunting wild dog in the area,we both stood there puzzled after we told them about the mutilated ducks, and the wild dog thing came up?

Interesting tracks, no doubt. Agreed, a ruler next to prints would help us on this end. It is hard to make out with the debris under the tree there, did all of the prints have the deep heel indentation? Was it a trackway? If so, heading to where? Wish I was near OK, I'd definitely spend some time, have a good look around. And I know, not a lot of traffic here, but those of that do frequent make up for it in quality:)

The ranger told you they were hunting "wild dogs" there? How many tins of blood did you find? All at the same time or spread out over a longer period? Where/what is that blood coming from, did the possibly untrustworthy local source mention?

You mentioned the hard to access N end of the lake, Is that the tip where Hog Creek flows in? A convenient route for traveling cryptids--the powerline right-of-way runs directly to it.

Always a possibility, A lot of people who investigate the strange and unknown are extremely gullible. Pranksters and Hoaxers play into that heavily so its something to keep in mind. Of course there are black bears in the area DNRs and the Dept of Interior are absolutely terrible at noting where creatures actually do live. I did some google and that lake has more revolving around it than just Upright Canines. People report an octopus? kinda out there but ok. People "drown" or go missing in and around the lake frequently despite its relatively shallow depth of 58ft. you'd think that recovery and search efforts would be easy given shallow depth and it being man made. Curious but then again there is a lake in my county seat that literally eats children at a fairly consistent pace. It's more of a pond really but yeah. definitely start carrying a tape measure or ruler with you. It makes sizing this sort of evidence full proof, no one can argue with it.

Well, I wouldn’t classify any of my team as gullible. Very compelling information. My input would be follow the evidence and ensure that the profile points associated with the sighting can be connected. At this point we have some that I myself would catalogue, but not enough to determine exactly what might be happening. Compelling photos, but again, much more in-depth research and field investigation is needed.

But you're correct. Researching the area it looks like Linda G has gotten a few Upright Canine reports in the general area, Thunderbird lake sits roughly in the center.
