If you watch his first video, he alludes to more than bigfoot and I found that very interesting. I personally think he held back not to seem totally crazy to those who haven't witnessed such things. I personally think it's like electricity, it can't be seen so people sometimes ignored it for years.

I stumbled across Howtohunt a couple of months ago. Steve seems to be well respected in the hunting community.
He already has a huge target on his back being so vocally pro-hunting given the current climate in Canada. He really opened himself up to attacks from all sides when he began openly discussing Sasquatch. Anti-hunters hate him because of his stance, while many hunters now mock him for his belief in Bigfoot. Luckily, he seems like the sort of guy who thrives on the conflict.
I watched the first video, awesome..I know they use retrievers for duck hunting because sometimes when you shoot a duck and wounded it, it will go under water , and swim for 100 feet to the left, under water and then latch onto some grass 4 or 5 feet down and stay there and the dog will swim to the location where he went under, then follow his underwater path, right to where he is and then dive under and grab them. I asked my gramps how they can do that and he said they can smell them, but I don't know, maybe they do have a sixth sense, but it is interesting.
If they did not boil that trap and then leave it outside for a month without touching it then the wolf could smell it or smelt the wax paper, even under the snow, no problem, and that is the reason the BF know that these trail cameras are there, they can smell them.
Just some of my ideas So what to do it we don't want them to smell them? We can have a special made camera housing that we can boil, leave it outside for a month afterwards, also have cloths you store outside for a month and gloves to load the camera into the housing, use a painters pole to mount it 25 feet up in a tree with twigs glued to the housing to disguise it.
Well, maybe all that will not work either, because drug dogs can find drugs even inside of a motor block of a car, and sealed in air tight containers even submerged in toxic liquids.
There are several trail cams that use true IR which is invisible to humans - but I don't know how invisible it is to different animals. I've run trail cams, even on sequential taking shots ever 30 seconds and never caught anything really out of the ordinary- yet.
Jae Woodward (sp?) of Woodward TV on YouTube had some interesting ideas about entities (his centered on Mothman, but he relates it to many entities) and why there are no sharp images. It's all speculation, but it's intriguing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AQzqnulyKw
A lot of people seem impressed with him, I don't happen to be one of them. He tells a good story, but what else does he bring to the table?
All I can say really is a lot of people are very easily impressed.
What does he bring to the table???
Steve Isdahl is a professional hunting guide who has come out as a proponent of the existence of cryptids. We should be excited that another person with a serious pedigree in outdoors related activities is coming forward and openly expressing his belief in the subject, but instead let's just dismiss him.
The people in this field are our own worst enemies sometimes.
Steve Isdahl is a bully and a hypocrite. Do a little research into his background and you will see him for who he is . An egotistical hypocrite. Look what he's done to Bob Gimlin we go is now receiving death threats. He claims to be against bullying but is a bully himself. In his own neck of the woods he finds people who disagree with his hunting of wolves and tracks down their home address and mails them the most gruesome photographs he can muster of dead and mutilated wolves. Watching him after only a few times you can get a visceral feel for his anger. In my opinion this guy has less than nothing to offer. Bullying housewives and old men falls into the realm of sociopathy.

My original post was August 10, 2019 and when I first found his channel. I've listened to a few of his videos since then. Those are pretty strong accusations. The only thing I've observed of them is that I can agree he is certainly angry, and egotistical. I can say I don't like listening to him like I did when I first heard him. I do find the encounters he relays to be interesting and if I listen to him that's where my interest lies at this point.
I do not want this site seen as engaging in bashing or slandering anyone, so be careful please and thank you.
