Wow Kiyona, sounds like you had quite the encounter there. I don't know if you would be willing to share it with us, if you don't I completely understand.
When I was having my door experience with an entity knocking on it, I never thought it was a DM or BF , I just thought that it was a ghost, because my kids where seeing them in our house.
Now I did have some scratching at my door a while back for two nights in a row, and it could have been june bugs but who knows because I opened it 3 or 4 times and did not find any june bugs next to the door although there were some out there, and the urination could have been from my dog, but I don't think so, I have this meditation spot in the woods I was going to and smelt the very very strong urination smell out there a few days prior to the strong smell at my door. I do think that all this could have been my fault, because on several occasions while meditating, I asked in my mind for what ever extraterrestrial or intelligent life form that was there to come and visit me, but since I stopped doing that, and also prayed to keep any entities away from my home, all of this stopped.

"There are things known, and things unknown, and in between are the doors."- Jim Morrison Sorry, couldn't resist. Ag47, a moratorium against harming/ killing people? That's quite a rabbit hole you've suggested there. Is the Lizard King a Reptilian?

Eoin, I was thinking in line with certain beliefs. I'm not going to go there. I made that mistake once and inadvertently started a flame war. Those are hard to put out, not to mention that mods are supposed to prevent them, not start them. Not going to make that mistake again. ...I do like exploring rabbit holes though...

My first dog when I was a toddler was a purebred GSD and she would open doors by biting the handle and twisting. It was an old house, about 240 years old. All the doorknobs in that house were period correct brass handles with big brass keys. So we started locking the doors, problem solved. Except, she would turn the key and unlock it and then open the door. We learned to lock it and put the key on top of the door frame. Nobody ever taught her this at all, but she figured it out because her separation anxiety would drive her nuts when we were gone and she wanted to get out of the house to find us.

When I read the OP my mind unwittingly took me down one of those rabbit holes (admittedly far off topic). I started thinking about a theory held by some physicists that a "cold spot" detected in a survey of our universe's background radiation indicated a point of impact between our universe and another.
If such impacts do occur, presumably there would be a degree of overlap of some type. It seems reasonably plausible that while they are overlapping, "doors" could form between them.
So, while my thoughts were far away from the physical doors Eoin mentioned, I wasn't exactly thinking in metaphysical terms either, and certainly wasn't promoting/ disparaging any particular belief system.
In case anyone doesn't already know, Jim Morrison was the lead singer of the Doors and referred to himself in a song as the lizard king. I'm certain that's what Eoin was jokingly referring to when he asked about him being a reptilian.
ag47's mention of inadvertently starting a philosophical grass fire convinced me it would probably be best to write a follow-up post in order to prevent anything from being misinterpreted, thus tamping out any smoldering embers.

Philip Pullman wrote His Dark Materials series which was focused around parallel universes and doorways opening between them, which is what got me into the whole multiverse thing in the first place, back when I was a kid. I also know a lot of Stephen King's works take place in his own fictional multiverse as well. With what we already know about space and what's been theorised, parallel universes and doorways between end up looking more and more believable every day.
I've got my own stories that take place in my own fictional multiverse as well (it's not self advertising I swear) and in my own stuff, "weak points" between worlds open up roughly every year or so caused by universes shifting around all the time, which has a nasty habit of occasionally letting through bad things from other worlds. It would be pretty awesome and scary if it turned out something like that was actually happening in real life, I have to say.

Whitefeather, no smoking embers here. I know Jim Morrison. Well, I don't know him personally, lol. This is my 2nd attempt to post this. The 1st one just went away. ( )

Anyway, following my train of thought a little further,
If two material universes came in contact, and somehow overlapped on a physical coordinate in space-time, might beings from one be able to temporarily interact with the "alien" universe?
Also, given that the overlap wasn't complete, couldn't we hypothesize that a creature native to one universe might not be fully subject to laws of physics governing the other?
I'm circling back here to my question of how a Dogman of approximately 400 lbs. could apparently demonstrate no response to the impact of a high-power rifle bullet. Or how a .357 magnum slug could dislodge a section of skin and hair, clearly indicating that the bullet did strike the creature, without otherwise affecting it.
Apologies if I'm too far out on the fringe here, but when it comes to Dogman there just don't seem very many straws to grasp at.

That's not too far fetched for me. We know of eleven dimensions I think? Multiverse theory is garnering a lot of acceptance in the science community.

Don't take this the wrong way, but my take on religious "miracles" or "supernatural" stuff is that it is simply that "alien dimension" interacting with ours... The Native Americans drew "Sky wheels" for portals where big nasty horned giant dudes came through, and Jesus made the statement "heaven is in our midst" when asked where heaven was... So when you talk about cold spots being the point at which these dimensions overlap, I think you're right on the money. It is all around us and there are little places where things can get I in or out.
I think Jim Morrison was too... I mean when you take THAT many consciousness expanding drugs you're going to see all the weird esoteric things the ancient mystery schools have been writing about for thousands of years. There DOES seem to be a "lizard king" thread even... Lol.
I live on a homestead in the woods with my wife and children. We raise livestock, including rabbits. My buddy made me a wooden sign that says "The Rabbit Hole"... It sits above the door to my basement... Lol. You wanna talk rabbit holes? Come over to my place, we live in one 😜

I think Skinwalker Ranch might be one of those overlaps. No tech proof, just my gut feeling.

There's been theories on the portals idea, that there's doorways that open up between worlds and stuff. Could be they're not to other dimensions (if they're real) but to other universes instead. They seem to open an close at random, as to why I can only speculate, perhaps the cosmic "tide" or maybe universes move around? I like that hypothesis a lot, although I don't fancy getting trapped on the other side. Maybe the dogmen are tougher since in whatever world they come from, they've been made tougher by means that don't happen in our world.
Might even be that dogman and these other creatures aren't even from the same universe, if you want to think about the multiverse idea. Could be more than one overlapping, which is a terrifying thought.

Of course they know what doors are. Even cats and our dogs know what doors are which is why they meow and bark at them when they wish to go in and out. Upright canines are obviously far more intelligent than dogs and cats. The fact that they knock and don't tear down the door in my opinion is polite as someone stated earlier considering they easily could do so.

On more than one occasion I have heard people say that they saw a BigFoot, or UFO and other things come and go into portals, like the skinwalker ranch. Even Steven Greer talks about Aliens and UFOs coming through them.
In the beginning its a hard story to buy into, but the more I hear about it the more i'm starting to believe there might be something to it. I think that heaven, earth, and hell are three different dimensions.
I remember reading many years back, that the gov. tracks magnetic fields , or micro waves that appear on earth, some are stable and some move around, and in these areas is where they are having some really weird stuff happening like UFOs, and DM, and BF showing up. The guy that wrote this had an instrument to measure these things, and it was leading him to a mountain. I don't know if there is any truth to all of this, but there could be.
I remember driving down the road in Mexico once and I felt a heat wave go through my car, it was strong and only briefly, but then saw that a family drove their car off of the road in that spot a little further down the road and all died. I also noticed that there was a sign close by that said Caution Micro wave power lines.
Don't know too much about the cold spot thing, but the other day walking in the woods I walked through a cold spot about 7 degrees colder than the other areas but it was in a slight dip, so it was a little lower and I just thought that, its sometimes colder in lower areas, but it did feel nice like a wave a AC, because it was kind of hot that day, and was disappointed that a week later when walking there it was not cold anymore it was the exact same temperature as the other areas.
