Did you see the part where they stated the "werewolf" was wearing blue jeans? That is pretty interesting. Are there other examples of Dogmen wearing human clothing?

So that's where the bluejeans came from. I knew I'd read it somewhere. Thanks for sharing these.
I also remember reading somewhere about someone seeing (or seeing depicted) dogmen with swords and armor like guardians.

I believe torn jeans were also part of the original Wolfman and I was a Teenage Werewolf. Beware of single source, unconfirmed, reports that tend to set the stage for multiple posts declaring similar, if not dead on, attributes as a part of supposed DM activity.

Allow me to clarify: I didn't say I thought it had any credibility. I said I think that's where I read it. Not sure about even that upon more reflection.
I am not an experiencer. I have spoken to those who have encountered it, and some credible people are coming forward with these things. No one has any proof that I find satisfying from an evidence standpoint. Not at this point. Nonetheless, I encourage anyone who has an honest anecdote to tell, to tell it because I want to hear it.
Our perceptions change and I can't reconcile dogman (or these other cryptids that people report having encountered) being totally of the natural world we were taught to believe in by science. Like the guide guy on YT said, (paraphrasing, and he was referring to bigfoot - but I believe this applies to dogman, and others), 'If this thing was just another flesh and blood species, skilled hunters would have necklaces made of their teeth.' No one has anything. Yet. I hope to see something noteworthy (not talking about trophies or killing, just good documentary evidence like photos, video, dna samples), and maybe you guys will find and document it.
One other thing. If you do get some really good, concrete evidence, I suggest you watch your back because there seems to be forces/agencies/whatever who do not want anything outside the box to see the light of day.

The only reason police are taking this seriously is because they believe it to be a person in a mask and/or wearing a suit

I imagine it depends on what agency you report the sightings to. I know for a fact that if you report something out of the ordinary, most agencies (local police, county sheriff, etc...) will send someone out to investigate it. Yes, there are times when the police get a "Crazy person" that reports something that is "Made up" or "In their heads", but there are times when you get a call for "Something" and it ends up turning out to be "Something" unexplainable. Where it goes from there, again, it depends on who you report it to. There are many law enforcement officers across the United States and the world over that have seen things that never get back to the public and that most would consider as being "Crazy" for having claimed to have seen.

I'm sorry to hear about the bad experience. Everyone should be treated with respect no matter what the situation. I guess there's bad people in all professions, but luckily it's not the majority.

My city had a sighting back in 2008 or so, it happened outside a local bowling alley one night in the parking lot, 4 witnesses claim they saw a tall 'person' standing on corner, his head was even with one of the buildings lights, which put him around 8ft tall, they said it had a mostly human face, but had a long snout, teeth, and a large canine nose (supposedly nose was abnormally large), they also reported this thing was wearing mens clothings.
What is really strange about this report, it used to be all over the internet, it was called 'the Erlanger Werewolf' (erlanger is the city), they even had the picture a police sketch artist did of it (which is really creepy) ,but when I went to look for this report again recently, it was nowhere to be found, anywhere! The pic of the drawing can still be found in a few places, but the details of the sighting are gone for some reason.

Is this the pic that you are referring to?
Do you recall the website the report was on? Given that you reside in the area, had you heard of the sighting locally? When did this occur?
