Good posting with this. Such a terrible way to go. I personally don't think that dogmen are involved either, seems like a case of regular dog mauling. Makes me angry to see people being so thoughtless in taking hunting dogs like that near where people live, then letting them go off and attack people. I checked on the map and it's right next to the city, too. It's so tragic, especially since she was pregnant. Poor family will be heartbroken.
Where I used to live they'd hunt waaaayyy too close to the houses (which was also illegal) and I'm actually surprised people weren't killed by the crazy folk who went out hunting. When hunting season was on, I kept far away from the hills, since they even hunted in areas they weren't supposed to, and would probably take a shot at me if they didn't know I was a person.

When I go into the woods I carry a pocket knife with a 5.5 inch blade, it is to defend me from one thing, and that is dogs, dogs kill more people than any other animal attacks. In the US its 28 per year. I have almost been attacked just right next to my front door. I could not read the article because I did not want to let them download cookies from their third party vendors into my computer.

Interesting story. Never underestimate a dog attack. Academically, I always knew this, but having been (voluntarily) bitten by a large shepard while I was wearing a protective arm sleeve made it real for me. Even with that thick, padded sleeve, the power of his jaws was amazing and crushing. I can only imagine if he'd been chomping on my bare arm (or elsewhere). Yep, dogs can kill humans pretty easily if it's a decent sized dog. Any sized dog can inflict injury. They are powerful animals.

Wait, she was found naked? Are the police saying the dogs undressed her before they started tearing her up? Or is there something else going on here? This feels like an episode from Grimm. I don't want to say that it's not dogmen but this is really weird, I don't feel like a dogman was responsible but I also don't feel like a person wasn't. If the woman's clothes had been torn up by the dogs, you'd imagine they'd report something like that.

A lot of Dave Paulides' cases involved the victims being found naked. Sometimes the clothes were folded and stacked neatly.

The Shepard report was made on facebook so it could have been the husband trying to hide the fact that it was their 5 pitbulls that killed her. It is still a mystery.

This definitely sounds suspicious. I'm not blaming anyone yet, but it sounds like there might be potential human causes to this, purposely.
