A 'furry' is not just a 'sex fetish' Anyway, furries don't generally go out in the woods dressed in their fursuits, especially on other people's property, and for sure not if they have a realistic looking costume (majority are cosplay looking or cartoony looking), as everyone knows most people who live in/near woods or mountains are also armed, and that there are hunting seasons.
According to the 'secret govt agent' Vick, some of the dogmen/werewolves were trained to go on missions with the military...maybe that type is attracted to gunshots? It is also said that they are attracted to bad energy/ill intended humans who are not good themselves, example hateful, violent intentions, ect. I don't know if that govt secret agent Vic was real or not, he was on that youtube show Dogman encounters with Jeffery No..I can't remember the last name.

Kiyona....do...you...have....a fursuit? Hey, if you do, that's cool. I'm glad to hear there is an assortment of well rounded activities one can partake of while in costume! And regardless, kudos for chiming in to defend the clan from any misperceptions.
Re "vick" the supersecret special agent whistleblower on the whole dogman engineering program that the US government had/has, where they supposedly created and released 35,000 dogmen into the wilder places of the US---well, one can never be certain with the vantage point we have on this type of claim, but I'm 99.95% sure that is pure codswallop.
It would be nice have a roving band of dogman soldiers quietly and unbelievably cleaning house of undesirables. If there were witnesses, who would take them seriously. And who knows, maybe dogmen do that of their own accord. Looking around though, they're slacking a bit methinks.

Haha, I don't have a 'fursuit' now, but I actually did years ago when I was alot younger, just as I have not been to any type of 'con' for years. Yes I could not fully listen to that vick guest, it sounded too outlandish. I think he is for entertainment purposes only. However a caller from Pierce County Tacoma Washington asked him how many dogmen/werewolves there are in Pierce county, and his answer was '3 dogmen, 3 werewolves'...anyway we have way more scary beings around seattle/tacoma in the woods and city parks in tents....I'll take a cryptid over someone on meth, bath salts, PCP any day!

I hear you, my girl has been to some comic cons over the years dressed as all sorts of things. I'd gladly take a cryptid over almost anyone, people are plentiful, I've seen many of them, sort of understand their habits...

Makes sense that they'd be attracted to gunshots, grizzlies do this number as mentioned easy meal at least in their mind. At 50k rounds a year they probably are getting pretty tired of running over just to see remnants of targets are left. Serious question would it be possible to have a sound recording device even cheap ones do a decent job maybe even just include the most interesting sounds, howls or calls? I think it'd be pretty valuable information to have to authentic calls there probably are a few different calls so it can be analyzed figure out ranges for certain calls and use this information to compare against other prospective calls. Just a thought seeing that you are using trailcams as well.

Maybe they can bag a dogman one day if one comes in to pick up the dead hog kills.

I believe one of these days, a dogman is going to be mistaken for a coyote and is going to be shot and killed during one of these night time coyote/hog hunts.

Nada Can't expect things to happen all the time, like here summer is the time; There is a drought so I think that is keeping these things away. (here at least)
