How can someone listen to every account and not know that they are in trees? So what did you like in the encounter? Did you learn anything? I think of these questions generally when listening to an encounter, I want to learn something more or lend more credibility for things I have picked up on from encounters. For example certain places have certain characteristics in the cryptids sometimes very regional specifically. Well either way glad they made it out alive.

Well the encounter itself you know where the guys are busy running from dogman and describe it, I have heard a few people mention doberman like dogmen around moorehead ky. It's interesting because canines tend to develop coloring based upon their environment. Where an average temp can be 26-87 degrees Frankenstein or Fahrenheit and 7 - 9 days of precipitation per month. Also there is a chance of no piebald gene being present, most dogmen are not described with coloring that would denote that gene being present. Also something else I am really thinking is that maybe vitamins eg selenium (you know that Java programming language for automating browsers or a vitamin in plants) or vitamin B7 might be able to explain how come some dogmen have sparse hair. I dunno that's what I pulled out of that encounter, but interesting stuff you picked out as well. Edit: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_coatAdded above for reference Edit to the Edit: I dunno if you caught the DW live stream just a few hours ago but it seems that he mentions that there is three main origin ideas which would depend on the individual encounter. Honestly made some sense to me.
