Funny enough ag27, I tend to joke about reports... plenty of them are outrageous.
I do agree it takes seeing something to shut you up, which is why I got myself involved researching/field work.
And sure enough, the few times I've got out with Dave and geared with thermal tech I've already experienced interesting things. I've backpacked many times but I suppose things change when you're out deliberately looking instead of passively enjoying the woods at night.

Warren, I understand the skepticism. I am a believer due to an encounter myself along with a group of other men. When I listen to a story about anything cryptic or paranormal I always look for inconsistencies and try to determine if someone is being truthful. I feel guilty at times in the sense that I may be thinking they are lying, but let me tell you this. I cannot day for 100% certain there is a bipedal canine out there, but I CAN tell you what I DO KNOW exists... there is an animal out there that stands about four to five feet tall when on all fours and moves faster than a cheetah and DOES NOT fear humans. I know this because it happened to me and four or five other guys one night. Long story short, it charged us from about 150 yards out, and we were armed and raised guns at it, at that point it BEGAN TO ZIG ZAG as if it KNEW we were pointing guns at it. I am a Christian and I am not lying. This really honest to God happened to us that night. I have worked in situations where I’ve had guns pulled on me and have had people shoot at me and that was not as scary as this encounter. There IS an animal out there that matches these stories an it is NOT afraid of people and is intelligent and and calculating.

Thank you, vadm. If I am correct I heard your testimony on Dogman Encounters? I spend quite a bit of time around law enforcement in New York City, specifically around an NYPD detective. I was impressed with your specificity and precision dealing with your encounter. Frankly, if I can try and project myself into your experience the fact you noticed the long forearms was extremely revealing! This too would have imprinted greatly on me because I was involved at one time in professional sports. I can tell you that one of the things that comes screaming out at athletes is the size of an opponent and their arms, especially the forearms. Btw, I am in security. One of the things I look for in people are there forearms and hand strength. I think you handled yourself quite well during the encounter.
