Whats the difference between a researcher and investigator in the organization besides the obvious

For what it's worth, It didn't cost me anything to join.
My understanding is that a Researcher focuses more on historical accounts while an Investigator goes into the field to gather evidence regarding current reports. Someone may be able to provide a better answer.
