4 times with a 45-70, center mass!!!! Maybe it was cowboy action ammo...I hope so, if not it can't be corporeal, at least I've a hard time believing it could be.

If I remember right, a henry .45-70 only holds four rounds in the tube... Poor guy was probably sh***ng himself when the last trigger pull went "click", lol. Yeah, I agree, more and more these things aren't "animals" to me... An "animal" would have attacked once it got to the guy. Hell, an "animal" would have been dead after the second shot... This "thing" was following the cosmic "rules" and was restraining itself because the time is not "yet"...

Most hunters always carry a few extra rounds too.
