There is something very interesting look at the tomographic image, it looks like it has two canine teeth on the top, seems that it has just large incisors and good sized canine teeth. I have read reports where people report two canine teeth on the top row and I've heard hooked backwards. www.sciencealert.com/images/2019-06/016-siberian-wolf-head-3.jpgBack then teeth had to be quite robust as well as the skull, it's what 17 inches long I think current wolves are 8-11 inches long.

yeah I think that is probably an ancestor to the modern dogman, not a modern wolf. 40,000 years isn't a very long time for drastic evolutionary changes... but it is possible since we've seen drastic changes through adaptation in just generational timescales. So it could be a regular big wolf... but I think otherwise. Plus, what happened to the body?

Thanks for the link. I too was curious about the "severed" scenario. Interesting mystery.
