Account from father to son, about his encounter with a Kitsune - the Japanese fox devil - during his deployment to Okinawa. Creep factor is through the roof on this one. If you are a sensitive type, you may wish to pass this up, as this soldier has a horrifying experience. Hats off to the YT channel on their work. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zei48YmtoyIWill double check hyperlink after post, in case of misfire. If this is happening and hidden from public view by the authorities, it explains a LOT by way of ‘animal attacks’ against humans. Watch your six, stay sharp. 1Sk8

Quick addendum:
Hyperlink looks good. The timeframe this encounter happened was during the Vietnam war, by a marine stationed in Oki, JPN.
The mythos and accounts BEGAN to be experienced by American servicemen stationed there since WWII.
This is a more recent one. The father tells his son after decades of keeping it to himself, and the son submits the story to YT.
And bloody awful, it is. I would also keep something like that buried deeply, no way I’d tell my kid - regardless if he’s an adult or not.
Well, on hindsight... I think my ex wife might have been a Kitsune. That life sucking creature stole everything I owned. So maybe I might tell my son someday, after all. Just hope he doesn’t grow a tail.

Leaving this here to come back and listen. If I recall correctly Japanese dogmen carry lanterns in a procession or ceremonial also are supposed to be more fox like which is interesting because we do get some reports or sightings of fox like dogmen from time to time. I only found minimal stories and most was not detailed as in behavior or anything.
Edit: lol @ ex-wife .. the UN has stated that if my ex-wife makes meatloaf ever again they'd charge her with a war crime forget best firearm for self defense I'd probably be able to take out an entire pack of dogmen with just the meatloaf.
Edit to the Edit: Okay listening now, a bit out of my wheelhouse

Great story and well told, though I think it may be just that. It was at least re-written for details and a more story-like flow.
Went looking and came across this, it is not referring to his Kitsune story but some other and is just one person's view on his tale. He has a good stash of stories Here, including the original Kitsune : www.reddit.com/user/Kendersarecooler/

Kitsune is a popular being of lore and stories, plenty of demons in anime if you want to know some of the different kinds, just watch Inuyasha (if you're into anime, it's one of many with tales of different kinds of demons in japan) I know some forests in Japan in real life are quite creepy, not sure why but you get that 'feeling'

Good work, finding out it’s just a fictional story; I missed that screenshot, as I listened to it without looking at the screen. Glad they were up front about it!
