A while back I uploaded pictures of odd balled tracks where we had "something" make strange almost hyena like noises, well I took one of the better pictures and made it into a 3d image, while I didn't have plaster at the time perhaps this is a way which a print can still be examined and if one is so inclined can print it with a bit of work.

The rock is something I stumbled over and didn't want to move it just out of concern that I may mess up what I already had, I didn't want to stick around quite in a vulnerable position while doing all this. Initially what told me this is different was the size and there was what looked like a heel, this was all within a two month period of this thing showing up making itself known to us all, oddest thing is that it only called and made a ruckus when all of us were together. Had it watched us for any amount of time it would have seen us hunting, we had other strange experiences which I was not there for including one of my coworker's dogs barking at the darkness when they went to check out a local graveyard. The 3d image is an STL file Windows 10 does have a builtin 3d image viewer I used Blender to model it from an SVG image it's kind of low quality the first iteration was well over 500 megs so I reduced the number of vertices and polygons it's down to ~33megs. The image can be manipulated as in moved around to give different angles and zoomed in and out of course I included a capture as I know 33mb might be a pain in the butt for those with slower connections.
I also have included a VT scan www.virustotal.com/gui/file/8c82d50a1f6bd212d064e577378a863cec408a8b8ae2d436db0b5297f56be99f/detection

One thing I denote is that the claws appear canted to the right, not sure only thought is that maybe it had to move quickly or something was wrong with that foot last thing is that what we experienced and this print are unrelated and it's not a heel just some random indention in the ground. I should say this surface was pretty hard and a man at 230lbs would not have left any trace other than on the top soil/dirt which was soft, basically even wearing boots I don't make a print as deep or anything beyond maybe the treads of my boots leave a bit of a trace.
Edit: If anyone's interested in how to go from an image to a 3d model let me know I used all opensource/free software, not sure if this can help in an investigation.
Edit to the Edit: Canted nails may also be that the nails are too long, as seen here:
