In Colorado on Friday. Do you think this was really the poor bears they killed, or something else?
I can't access most mainstream news channels because of my add blocker so if anyone can post the most accurate version available, please do!

Seems to be just as many men and children being killed by bears, wild dogs, or unknown animal attacks. I think the main factor is that these people are always alone.

Wild dogs or basically any canine will make a big mess of a prey item, bears tend to pretty much dominate/destroy bites to the mouth area are common with these guys when they attack humans as well as numerous bites to fleshy areas and clawing at the head also one will notice that based upon the size the prey will be dragged up to a 1/4 mile (heard of this with big grizzlies) usually though a couple hundred yards for black bears. If these are the animals then the angle of the claws, width of the bite and possibly remains might be found in the stomach of the bears. Now the story mentions a mom and two cubs, it might not be predatory but more defensive. We can only guess as to if it really is a bear attack or something else, it'd be nice if we can get autopsy reports maybe pictures. Just so we all are on the same page predators say a mountain lion compared to a bear will have a certain width for how far canine teeth are apart even the shape and size, how many teeth the species has, the claw shape and curvature not to mention DNA be it from saliva or hair. Either way an investigator with the ability to rather accurately identify a predator which has attacked a human even livestock. The Kentucky teen who died due to an unknown canid that one is beyond interesting also the NC teacher, I fear that neither will be resolved formally and publicly.

Not to mention the mainstream news channels rarely ever do follow ups, and most news stories are never presented to the public with 100% accuracy, I'm sure any of you who have been involved or close to a newsworthy event sometime in your life can attest to (they leave important things out, or put things in that didn't occur in the first place).

Too much news is just surface deep and unfortunately the news rely on local authorities for their next scoop so upsetting these agencies/people really won't help and often the idea is to shape public opinion on either a story or issue.

hmm .. human remains were found probably they (the bears) are the culprit. Super odd probably either a defensive attack then turned predatory, most animals defend a kill but being aggressive enough something else can push it off. Most black bears and more so with a mom with cubs probably is going to try to flee with the cubs if it stumbled onto another animals kill. Also yearling cubs are big enough to really do some damage and probably kill an adult, I think people don't understand how strong animals are I can tell you all now a one year old lion or big cat would absolutely kill or injure a man.
Edit: Don't fall for dogman behind every corner a neck bite makes sense they go for the face/jaw the person moves it'll be the neck. There is such a video of an incident that happened which is very similar to what probably happened to this lady.
