Anyone wondering if the pitbulls are being scapegoats in this killing?

That's really sad and I am sure that its not true and the dogs are being scapegoated. I hope someone put a stop to it before those dogs where not put down. Are there any dogman sighting reports in that area.? Any more information.? like is there any reports of other animal footprints other then the 2 dogs.? Is there a map of the area where this happened.?

Is there a way we can find out more on our own.? Maybe ask for a report on what happened.? By the way, I lived with animals and dogs my whole life and I can tell you that there are no bad dogs, Only bad owners and bad breeding. I never blame a dog for an attack, It is always the people that make the dogs into killers. I volunteered with helping dogs and animals years ago and I never had that what ag47 said happen to me before. STOP BLAMING THE DOGS and start Blaming the bad owners. Keep in mind that other dogs have been blamed for ''suspicion'' human deaths before where there are dogman sightings, And they always blame the dog when something like that happens.

That's fine. There are no bad dogs.

Regarding this case: As far as what you're allowed to know about the case, I would caution anyone from trying to involve their self in an active law enforcement investigation lest they be charged with obstruction or something similar.

No matter how much you want to get information the law will not give it up! Were the bite marks on her head the same measurements as her pitbull's bite? We'll never know that one. Anything pointing to some 'cryptid' will never be released! Listen to dogmanencounters.com about dog attacks. The dog gets blamed for every attack regardless of the evidence!

I actually posed this question, but I deleted the post. I would also like to know if any of her cells were inside the dogs, or if their cells were in the wounds on her. Were there cells from any 'other' biological source present?
As I also said in the same post, watch for some federal types to get involved, especially some agency you would not expect to be involved, such as the EPA (hint, they won't really be EPA). It probably won't be in the newspapers if they do show up. It might be posted in some social media from someone who witnesses it if it happens. As paranoid as it may sound, based on what I've heard from others involved in cryptid and other 'outside the box' events, Big Bro knows and he don't want you or I getting onto it. Whatever "it" is.
As far as local cops in the case of dog attacks, I think they tend to just blame the dogs as an open-and-shut case, not because they have anything against dogs, but because they are busy and in some cases lazy. Most cops also do NOT tend to be believers in unusual events such as those involving cryptids, at least not until they come face-to-face with it. Even then, there is a very strong motive to keep their mouths shut, lest they be labeled as rubber-gun-squad material.
Barring any findings to the contrary as described above, if we were to allow credibility to Occam's Razor, we might lean toward the hypothesis that it may unfortunately be the dogs that did the deed.
Once an investigation is closed there is FOIA (with whatever limitations are imposed on it by jurisdictional law). Even FOIA didn't work for Dave Paulides, not at the federal level anyway.

The first report that I saw said that the dogs were "standing guard over the body".

Curious, I think I remember reading that the Sheriff didn't want to initially release that the dogs were eating her, and that came out later. Can't remember which article.

Can we get anyone in the area to interview the family and neighbors to find out if the atmosphere of the area has changed?

Interesting question and a logical idea. Submit that to the report email on the front page of the NADP site.

Anyone wondering if the pitbulls are being scapegoats in this killing? nypost.com/2017/12/20/trainer-reveals-why-dogs-may-have-mauled-owner-to-death/They were left in the care of the father who had them locked up in a cage outside without feeding them or caring for them. So who might really be the precursor to such a crime? Many people consider dogs unnecessary property and have no feelings for them as living beings. The woman for some reason could not give them the attention they were used to and the father really wanted nothing to do with them.

It sounds like the attack was because of the abuse the dogs were going through, poor things. Once the case is “closed”, anyone would be able to request a copy of the case files. Included in that file should be a copy of the autopsy report. You would be able to check the bite marks for their size just to be sure but I’m pretty confident that this was just an awful result of animal cruelty.

Greetings - we actually investigated this case and unfortunately the dogs did kill her.... It's a tragic case and sad.
My husband actually drove up and interviewed the locals. After the additional information came out from the Police it seems like those poor dogs were neglected and just turned on her....
