pls anyone ask me about this or message me the creature is peculiar.
if youve read this far i have a property that my friends own thats quite ancient more than 150 years old was one of the first plots of land in a town unnamed but i have access to it and as recent as two nights ago and ive been charged and heard it sooooo many times over this past 2 years. but recent as a few days ago it was literally seen. talking probably 6-7 ft yellow eyes and this one is strange it isnt menacing a year ago we had a huge family of racoons and possums and one day a possum came out of the woods with multiple points on its body of bruising and damage after what aounded like something picked it up and threw it. then about only 2 to 3 nights later a cat print the size of a nba players fist was on yhe tail end of a car on the driveway less than 10 feet from my friends door. this creature has been active it makes noise but is elusivw and only shows its face from 8pm to 6am but its highest points of activity are usually 12 pm to 3-4am its a seriously big animal whatever the heck it is and makes the most bizarre noises and moves when we talk. i will release this on the main forums

Just keyed on your description of a cat print the size of an NBA player’s hand.
Sounds like a bobcat; the feet are enormous compared to body ratio. They make horrifying sounds, and the eyes are yellow.
When I was young, my grandfather and I were out cross-country skiing and we came across a set of deer tracks mixed with blood. We followed and came across a cliff face thirty feet down. The deer had jumped right over the edge. We skied around and tracked to find the deer carcass, which had been bloodied and was recently dead - either from the fall or the gashes on its body, we could not tell.
Leading off from the deer was a set of strange drag marks. My grandfather got edgy and we carefully followed this trench type track into the pines.
We got about a hundred yards in, then saw the thing. It was a bobcat, dragging its hind legs behind. Using only its front paws, it was trying to escape from us, but was unable to. As soon as this thing sensed us, it turned about face, and gave off a low growl that was just plain badassery. Its yellow eyes were narrow and looked filled with hate. And it began trudging toward us, dragging its body with rear legs nonfunctional.
We got away from it easily on our skis, and my grandfather and I talked about this for many years afterward. His theory was that the bobcat had ambushed the deer, and was hanging on, mauling as the deer, frightened out of its wits, ran toward then jumped off, the cliff. The Bobcat came along with it, and broke its spine upon impact, thus it was dragging its legs behind itself when we finally found it.
Let my say this: That critter wanted to kill us both. The look in its eye, and the growl it made, along with that suicidal about face as it began approaching us - made this critter one evil tempered mug. The sound was unlike anything I’d ever heard before or after. One vicious sumbthc.
Have you taken pics of the tracks? Comparing with known big cats? Any spoor or hairs in the area? Grab what you can and zip loc it. Holler if you find any samples, we can help you identify it.

www.tn.gov/twra/wildlife/mammals/large/bobcat.htmlThey can be trapped and hunted in Tennessee. If this is your plan, check into permits and tags, open season window, and any red tape needed before going after this thing. You may find a distress call useful in luring them; many models on the market imitating rabbit or deer screams will very likely draw this (and other!) predator to your chosen blind or shooting lane. If you are not a hunter or choose not to, these same tricks are very helpful in photography, videography. Ghillie suit, burlap sack cloth wrap over your gun or camera, and smoke-wash your clothing before you head out. Good luck!

Kiyona, they sure do. I like what one person posted, "If i heard this sound out in the woods i would immediately discourage it from attacking me by creating a foul smell as i filled my shorts with doody."
