I have access to a biotech laboratory with equipment capable of breaking down and analyzing genetic material, so I'm planning to go searching for samples this summer. This July, I'll be going to the Adirondack mountains for nine days to search for dogmen and potentially collect any genetic material they left behind. Before I start the expedition, I thought it would be a good idea to ask if anyone has ever been able to collect anything from a dogman that contains genetic material, such as hair or blood. If anyone has ever found anything like that, we can learn a lot from it. I'd really be interested in seeing what became of the sample.
EDIT- The equipment in the laboratory will be at my disposal unit mid June of 2025. If anyone who has a genetic sample happens to see this, please contact me at fragnokkthedestructor@gmail.com.

Sounds like Virgina/North Carolina area is a hot spot too. I'm sure someone must have something they think is DNA, since there are so many 'experts' out there, hopefully one will send you a sample!
